PacifiCare Name Change
PacifiCare of Texas Inc., a UnitedHealthcare company, is changing its name to UnitedHealthcare Benefits of Texas,
effective May 1, 2011. Information and tools that display the PacifiCare name will be updated to reflect the
UnitedHealthcare name and logo and the name of the supporting entity. Updated UnitedHealthcare ID cards will be
sent to members and their currently enrolled dependents in June, 2011. This card will replace their current
PacifiCare card. The internet address currently used to access the PacifiCare website will also change as part of
this transition (www.uhcwest.com); however, employees should continue to use the current website (www.pacificare.com)
until they receive their new ID card.
