Streamline the Submission Process
Help us help you. By submitting a clean case timely, we can get those submissions to the carrier quicker,
resulting in faster issue and a happy client. The items most often missed and critical to the underwriting and
installation process are:
- Height & weight for all applying for coverage
- All health questions answered and details given for those “yes” answers
- Effective and term dates of prior coverage (if the client doesn’t complete this on the application, we have to complete it, adding to turn-around time)
- For enrollees 65 and over on groups where Medicare is Primary (usually under 20 lives), we need to know if
the individual has both Medicare Parts A & B. This can impact the rates significantly.
- For your final submissions, please submit your 1st effective date groups by the 20th of the previous month and
15th effective date groups by the 5th. This helps to avoid the last minute rush and backlog that can occur.
